These Terms govern your use of Sit, operated by Ardenholt LLC ("we", "us"). By using Sit, you agree to these Terms.
The service
Sit is software we provide as-is: a private, on-device age-based schedule planner for a new puppy. We will work hard to keep it useful, but we offer no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, except where required by law.
Not veterinary advice
Sit provides schedules, education, and organization — not veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Its timelines follow widely-published general norms and may not fit your puppy's breed, size, or health. Vaccination and spay/neuter timing, feeding amounts, exercise limits, and any medical concern are your veterinarian's call — always consult them, and seek urgent care if your puppy is unwell.
Your puppy profile, your responsibility
Your puppy profile lives on your device, protected by your device passcode and biometrics; we hold no copy (see Privacy). That design means you are responsible for your device security, your backups and exports, and for deciding who can access your puppy profile and its printed or exported copies. We cannot recover a puppy profile from a lost, wiped, or inaccessible device.
Acceptable use
- Don't use Sit to harm others or store data you have no right to hold.
- Don't attempt to break, probe, or reverse-engineer the service except as permitted by law.
Payments & refunds
Sit is a one-time purchase of $14.99 for lifetime access, charged via Stripe; the price is shown before checkout. There is no subscription and no auto-renewal — we never bill you again. One-time purchases are non-refundable after 14 days, except where required by law.
Termination
You can stop using Sit at any time; your puppy profile is yours to export or delete on-device. We may suspend website services (like the waitlist) if we reasonably believe these Terms are being violated, with notice where feasible.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of Sit is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in that state.
Changes
If these Terms change materially, we'll update this page and the effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
